I was approached by a friend for a photo shoot. Mind you, I am no expert and my knowledge is mostly in theory not in practice. So I recruited the help of a fellow photographer to help me with the lighting.
My friend wanted the pictures for a seminar in pregnancy where the topic was ‘The Sensual Body of a Pregnant Woman’. At first, I struggled a lot with the theme of the shoot. First, I had never taken studio types photos and I didn’t know how to interact with the model (who was my friend) to make her comfortable and guide her into the poses.
As we went along, we started getting used to each other and relaxing. I think the photos came out very good. I had to do little to no post processing on the photos. They were enlarged to 8x10 and according to my friend, they were a success in the seminar.
